Thirty-one metres across, the ringfort in Glouria stands with an unbroken view of the surrounding country. Its earthen bank still rises eighty centimetres above the ground, though drainage work has flattened the western edge. The flat-bottomed fosse remains visible beside it, marking the boundary of a place that watched the land for centuries before anyone wrote it down.

Internal diameter 18.4m N-S, 20.3m E-W This univallate rath has an excellent view of the surrounding country. A circular area enclosed by a well-defined earthen bank and exterior fosse, the bank to the W has been levelled due to drainage works. The height of the bank measures .8m externally and .6m above the interior. The width of the bank at the base measures 3.5m. The enclosing fosse is flat bottomed, 1.2m wide and .4m deep.
