Mortons and Delanys still point to the flat circle in Glentanefinnane, where a thirty-metre ditch once bit through the field. They call it a fairy fort, not to dismiss it but to keep children clear at dusk. The earthen ring has no gate that anyone remembers, though shadow moves across it like water.
