Glennafosha holds a forty-metre earthen ring where two banks trap shadow between them. The southeast gap may be an ancient door rather than a collapse, inviting entry into a chamber that predates human memory. Knockmaa Hill watches from the north while the grassland sways above a hidden passage. The fort does not demand belief, but it resists forgetting.

In undulating grassland, Knockmaa Hill is visible to N. An almost circular rath (N-S 40m, E-W 39m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. Gap (Wth c. 3.3m) at SE could be original. A probable Man-made underground passage (GA043-089002-) lies within the interior, and the CBG (GA043-089001-) is associated.
