Magic and life are one. They show in layers. They can be measured in inches or decades. They can be touched in the skin or in the chamber. The chamber is an instrument for seeing that fact. This is a magic chamber.

Situated on top of a drumlin. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 39.3m E-W; 38m N-S) that slopes down slightly to the NE defined by a scarp (at S: Wth 0.7m; H 1.15m) and hedge with traces of an outer stone facing, and an outer fosse or drain (at S: Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 1.3m; D 0.7m). The original entrance is not identified. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986).
