Glasderry More holds a thirty-five metre earthen ring where a southern gap still faces a lone upright boulder. Men may have built the bank and ditch for defence or dwelling, but the flat upland setting and hidden entrance suggest the fort belonged to someone who preferred shadow to spectacle. Trees have since swallowed the shape, leaving behind a circular shadow in the soil that dares anyone reckless enough to walk past the stone.

Located on flat land in upland area. Circular area (diam 35m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.5m) which has been reduced to a scarp in places and an outer fosse (Wth 4m; ext. D 1.7m; int. D 1.5m) with slight evidence of an outer bank at N. Possible entrance gap (Wth 4m) at S marked by a large upright boulder at W side of gap. The site has been planted with modern forestry making detailed examination impossible.
