Lissyhoneen is a circular earthen fort in Glansillagh pastureland, preserving the name of Ó hUaithnín and presenting a broad solid bank around a raised interior. Its southeast gap admits a person into a space where two shallow depressions in the southwest may mark a lost underground passage. The fort still occupies the land as a visible chamber, while human life inside has faded to suggestion.

Internal diameter 42m N-S, 44m E-W Lissyhoneen/Lios Uí Uaithnín (ringfort of Ó hUaithnín - surname O Houneen). This site is situated in slightly undulating pastureland with a good view in all directions. To the NE lies a standing stone (KE003-020----). The univallate rath consists of a circular area enclosed by an earthen bank and the slight remains of an exterior fosse are to be noted to the N to W. The enclosing bank measures 2.5m externally and c.7m internally. The width of the bank at the base on average measures 6m. The fosse measures 2m in width and 1.5m below the height of the surrounding land. A 7m wide gap to the SE provides access to the interior. The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land. In the SW sector there are two small depressions measuring 2m x 1.6m and 1.8m x 1.6m, possibly suggesting a collapsed Man-made underground passage (KE003-019001-).
