Internal diam. 17.8m N-S, 15m E-W A univallate rath located on a steep E facing slope at the head of Gleann na nGealt. A short stretch of the enclosing bank and fosse has been entirely removed where a modern gully encroaches on the site at S. They have also been levelled along the downslope E side, but here the outline of the enclosure is preserved as a scarp which falls 1.75m to the exterior. The earthen bank enclosing the remainder of the site reaches a maximum height of 2.75m internally and .65m externally; it is c. 3.8m wide at base. The external fosse averages 2m in width and is approximately 1m deep though there is no clear distinction between its outer edge and the rising hillslope beyond. The interior is occupied by a series of cultivation ridges. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter.
