Magic and memory are entangled here. The fort is a chamber where both can be seen. This is a place to remember that the world is wider than the visible.

Internal diameter 17m N-S Situated on a rise, this site has an excellent view of the surrounding land. It lies SE of St Dahalin's Church (KE014-001----) and Tobernasool holy well (KE014-002----). This site does not appear on the 1842 OS map, but is marked on the later edition and 'cave' is marked in the interior. This univallate rath is now much levelled. The bank only survives to the N through W to S. The bank is c 4m wide at the base and rises to 1.6m above the surrounding land and 1m above the interior. In the centre of this rath is a circular mound, 3.6m N-S and c1m high, and this possibly marks the Man-made underground passage (KE014-003001-). The above description is derived from C.
