Glanbane holds a earthen ringfort the locals call a fairy fort, a circular bank still standing beside the town where human hands first shaped the land. The name suggests the fort belongs to something else now, as if the people who built it left behind and the fairies moved in to keep the shape alive. That is the kind of place where the boundary between history and story stops mattering, because the earth remembers the circle even when the names have changed.
