Glanawillin holds a broken fairy fort where a twenty-four metre circle once stood. Time and perhaps curiosity stripped most of the earth away, leaving only a low southern arc and a western bank barely higher than a person’s knee. What remains is small enough to walk across in a minute, yet large enough to have kept rain, wind and ordinary visitors out. The missing half does not disappear when imagined; it returns as the shape the surviving earth still remembers.

Internal diameter 24m E-W Very little remains of this possible univallate rath. All that survives is a semi-circular raised area from the SW through S to E which is c 1m high. On the W sector there is a bank 11m long and 6m wide at the base, with an external height of .7m and internal height of .7m. The above description is derived from C.
