Thirty-three metres across on a Kerry rise, the fort still commands every horizon. A shallow ditch curls from northeast to southwest around the raised circle, marking the boundary between the visible world and the hidden ones. People may have lived there before fear or wonder moved them elsewhere, leaving behind a place where the fairies never left.

Internal diameter 33m N-S, 32m E-W This site is situated on a rise, affording excellent views in all directions. This univallate rath consists of a raised circular area which averaged .8m high. An exterior fosse is to be noted NE and SE through S to SW. It appears as a shallow, though well-defined depression measuring 2m in width and .3m below the surrounding land.
