Bishop's Hill in Donegal still casts its shadow westward across a forgotten circular fort. The earthwork measures thirty-eight and a half metres inside, with only fragments of its shallow ditch remaining along the north, east and northwest edges. It sits below the flat summit like a chamber waiting for someone to remember why it was built.

Internal diam. 38.5m. Previously unmarked on the OS 6-inch maps the site consists of a flat, circular area enclosed by the remains of a fosse c. 2m wide and 0.3m deep which survives only on the NW, N and E sectors. It is situated W of the flat-topped summit of Bishop's Hill with wide views in all directions. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
