No visible trace remains at Garraundagh, but local memory keeps the fort alive as a fairy fort. That name does not dismiss the place; it admits the limit of human knowledge. The ring may have held people, excluded strangers or waited through centuries without explanation. To call it fairy is not to mock it, but to stop inventing a false human story.
