No wall, trench or ridge remains visible beside the abandoned farmyard. The place exists only through a small embanked mark and gothic lettering on an 1834 map, drawing an imaginary fort where ordinary ground may never have worn one.

Located towards the bottom of the S-facing spine of a NNW-SSE drumlin ridge. It is depicted as a small embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 25m) just SW of some houses and described in gothic lettering as a ‘fort’ only on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map. There is no visible evidence of an antiquity just SW of an abandoned farmyard.
