Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Garbally (coshma By.) is a levelled ringfort in County Limerick, Ireland. Wet pasture, a nearby enclosure and the Morningstar River keep the place alive in the landscape. What remains is a memory written in soil, waiting for rain, foot traffic or patience to reveal how much of the old shape still holds.
In wet pasture 610m W of Morningstar River and 65m NW of the townland boundary with Brackvoe. Enclosure (LI031-121----) lies 20m to SE. Depicted on OSi 25-inch map as a raised roughly circular-shaped area (dims. 27m NE-SW; 25m NW-SE) defined by a scarp with fosse. Levelled monument not visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-2012, Faint outline of levelled monument visible on Google Earth orthoimages dated 24/09/2018 and 28/06/2018.
