Situated on a natural low rise of ground sloping to the W and E, in undulating pasture. A circular platform (diam. 31.5m N-S; 30.5m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.46m), a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 3.3m) and an outer bank (Wth 1.2m; int. H 1.86m; ext. H 1.55m) of earth and stone construction.
