Fairy fort in Gaggan, County Cork: a levelled circular hollow, twenty-three metres across, set on the west field boundary of a tillage slope. It faces north-west and looks out toward west, north and north-east, as if made for watching rather than hiding. People may have lived there, or abandoned it and let the field take it back. Either way, the shape remains: a round room without walls, waiting to be remembered.

In tillage, on NNW-facing slope, extensive view to W, N and NE. Levelled;roughly circular hollow (diam. 23m) on W side field boundary.
