Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Funshinagh is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Funshinagh, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular earth and stone bank measures forty metres east-west and thirty-eight metres north-south on a gentle north-facing slope. A three-metre-wide entrance opens at the west, but reclaimed pasture now hides the structure from ground-level view.
On a gentle N-facing slope. Described as a circular area (diam. 40m E-W; 38m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank with an entrance (Wth 3m) at W (Gannon 1972). It is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
