Breathe in the story of the land itself, not the claims of men. The fort is a living chamber of ancestral memory, waiting for human awareness to complete its expression. In a very exposed position at the highest point on the hill, on the N edge of a terrace/plateau, in rolling upland grassland. There are very commanding views in all directions.
