What is recorded here

Flughanagh holds a grass-covered ring about twenty-five metres wide on a gentle drumlin slope, likely marking a lost rath. It sits seventy metres southwest of a larger recorded fort, suggesting a small cluster where people once lived, herded, or hid beneath ordinary pasture. The land has been reclaimed and worked, yet the circle remains visible enough to invite imagination about the hands that shaped it and the days they spent inside.

Located in reclaimed pasture towards the bottom of the gentle W-facing slope of a drumlin. This is a grass-covered, slightly dished circular area (diam. c. 25m) that was probably a rath. The rath (LE015-120----) is c. 70m to the NE. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
