Fairy fort in Flean More, County Limerick: a broken earthen ring, thirty metres across, hiding in pasture and hawthorn. People may have lived there, or refused to touch it because fairies owned the middle. Either way, the bank still stands, leaking soil into the field like a forgotten promise.

In undulating pasture, at S end of low rise. Circular area (30.6m N-S; 29m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.85m; ext. H 1.6m) with external fosse (Wth 1.5m; D 0.7m); enclosing element overgrown with trees and bushes. Rough breaks in bank at N, E and SSW.
