Fiddane North holds a broken earthen ring where human hands shaped the slope before memory faded. The bank still rises beside the stream, pierced by small gaps that may have been doors or may have been places where the land simply refused to keep its shape. Cattle walk through the remains now, dragging the old boundary into ordinary life. What was built for protection or exclusion has become a boundary for grass, yet the circle endures because the earth remembers the pressure of the making.

In pasture, on SW-facing slope c. 90m N of Fiddane stream. Roughly circular area (44.5m N-S; 38.8m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.4m). External fosse survives to N as slight depression at base of bank. Bank incorporated into roadside fence to W and into field fence system to N where some stone facing exists externally. Break in bank to NE (Wth 1m), ESE (Wth 1m) and S (Wth 1.2m). Interior raised on S side to compensate for hillslope.
