Fairy fort in Feohanagh, County Limerick: a 40m earthen ring cut in two by a road, half pasture, half lost in overgrowth. The boundary still stands, scarped and fierce, while the centre has been forgotten. Whatever lived there stopped being visible long before it stopped existing.

In level ground. Circular area (diam. c. 40m) defined by scarped edge (H 0.9m; Wth 1.2m) with an external fosse (D 0.9m; Wth 3.8m). Enclosure is divided in two by a public road (Wth c. 10m) which runs SW-NE through site to SE of centre. Part of site on SE side of road is completely covered by overgrowth; other section in pasture.
