Fairy forts are not for interference. That is the first rule. The second is that they remember every boundary drawn across them, which is why the field line cutting the northern ditch still feels like a wound instead of a fact. People forgot the name, not the shape. The earth kept both.

In pasture, on slight W-facing slope overlooking stream. Circular area (26m N-S; 27m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.75m; Wth 2m), with an external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 1.4m) SW->NW.
