Fawnlehane holds a circular earthen ringfort on a gentle south-facing slope, its scarped edge and shallow fosse still marking a boundary that humans forgot but the land kept. Cattle graze across the site today, trimming the grass short enough to reveal the shape beneath their hooves. The fort may have housed families, hidden lovers, or railed against kings, yet it survives without praise, waiting for someone to walk its rim and remember that small circles can hold entire lives.
