Fairy fort in Fawn, County Leitrim, is a grass-covered oval measuring forty-eight by forty-two metres, bounded by a low scarp and faint bank on a slight south-facing slope. Its western edge still holds a band of lush vegetation marking an old ditch, though the true entrance has vanished into legend and time. The shape suggests human hands, yet local tradition reserves the name for fairy work, implying the fort belongs to neither history nor reason but to the hidden life beneath the grass.

Situated towards the top of a slight S-facing slope. This is a grass-covered oval area (int. dims 48m NE-SW; 42m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 0.4-0.6m) with the slight remains of a bank (Wth 2-5m) intermittently visible. An outer fosse is represented by a band of lush vegetation (Wth 2m) W-NW. The original entrance is not identified.
