Fairy fort in Farranpierce, County Kerry, is a circular univallate rath with a 28m internal diameter. Its earthen bank rises 2.5m externally and averages 7m wide at the base. A 4m gap to the SE may mark the entrance, while cattle breaks scatter elsewhere in the bank. The interior sits higher than the surrounding land and remains overgrown. The view from the site reaches far in every direction.

Internal diameter 28m Situated SE of KE004-028----, the view from this site is fairly extensive in all directions. This circular univallate rath is enclosed by an earthen bank that rises to a height of 2.5m externally and between .6m to 1.8m internally. The width of the bank at the base measures 7m on average. Several cattle breaks exists in the bank but a gap of 4m to the SE may be the entrance. The interior, which is at a higher level than the surrounding land, is quite overgrown.
