This site consists of a roughly circular area defined by a slight scarp and now trisected by field walls. It measures approximately 64m in diameter. The site lies on a SE facing slope about 150m from the Trabeg inlet and is not noted on the OS maps. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 670. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
