Drumsivney held a double-banked ringfort on a high drumlin until 1969, when ploughs erased most of the circular defence. The outer bank still leaks into the local field boundary, preserving a fragment of the fort's shape long after the inner chamber vanished. People may have lived, hidden or worshipped inside that lost circle, while others simply saw a fairy fort and left it alone.

Almost completely levelled in 1969. Situated on the summit of a high drumlin hill. An earlier report (OPW 1969), written some months after the destruction, recorded that it had apparently comprised a raised circular area (int. diam. c. 28m) enclosed by two substantial earthen banks with intermediate fosse. Original entrance was not recognisable. The outer bank has been much modified and incorporated into the field boundary from E-S-SSW and from N-E.
