Fairy fort in Drumsillagh, County Cavan: an earthen oval 33.5m by 28m with a worn bank and shallow ditch, now crowded by vegetation. Its entrance may have faced southeast. People lived there before memory, then left the shape behind.

Raised oval area (int. dims. 33.5m WNW-ESE; 28m NNE-SSW) enclosed by a substantial, although partly denuded, earthen bank and a wide, shallow fosse modified and incorporated into the field drainage system. An earlier report (OPW 1968) suggested that the original entrance was probably at SE. Densely overgrown with vegetation.
