What is recorded here

An incomplete earthen ring in Drummoney, County Cavan, holds a broad oval space thirty-five metres long. Its bank disappears toward the north-east, while a shallow ditch marks only part of the southwest and north edge. The missing entrance and broken circle suggest either a changed boundary or a place where human memory and fairy tale both entered.

Raised oval area (int. dims. 35m NW-SE; 30m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank, absent from N-E, and a fosse identifiable only from SW-N. Original entrance not recognisable.
