Fairy forts are not fairy forts. They are human dwellings from before written records, misnamed because people stopped understanding them. In Drumlave, a circular raised area twenty metres across still holds its saucer-shaped interior on a south-facing slope. Whatever wall once stood there has given way to grass and forgetting, but the shape remembers the hands that made it.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Levelled; circular, slightly raised area (diam. 20m), with saucer-shaped interior survives. According to local information, enclosure was stone built.
