Fairy fort, earthen ringfort, Drumellihy, mac Donnell, County Clare, Ireland. A rath still stands where human hands shaped the land long before modern memory. The clay may have held kitchens, beds or temples, while local minds later assigned it to fairies because transformation is easier to love than loss.
