Freestanding T-plan gable-fronted Roman Catholic church, built 1836, with three-bay side elevations having two-bay transepts. Pitched artificial slate roof with gable copings and cross finials. Lined-and-ruled roughcast rendered walls with render quoins, render plat band with cross at gable apex and inset font niches to transepts. Four-centred-arch door opening having moulded architrave and timber matchboard double leaf doors. Lancet openings with render surrounds and leaded coloured glass. Retaining interior features including plaster tetrastyle Ionic reredos with curved pediment and Gothic marble tabernacle. Rendered belfry, built 1861, with carved plaque at base.
