Quarrying has bitten into the north and southwest, but the eastern entrance still stands clear on the grassy rise. Thirty metres of earth and memory circle the centre, waiting for the missing stone to reappear in dreams or rain. The fort belongs to nobody now, which is why it can belong to everyone who walks past without looking away.

On a rise in low-lying grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 30m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. Quarrying has encroached upon the monument at N and SW. The fosse and outer bank survive from NW through N to SE. Well-defined entrance at E. A ringfort (GA030-053----) lies c. 100m to S.
