Drumauna holds a faded ringfort on a drumlin summit, marked Fort on maps from 1836 and 1876. Ploughs and time have eaten most of the bank, leaving only a low ridge and a ghost of the perimeter. The fort stood where the land rises, watching the valley, and the valley forgot it. What remains is enough to show that people once drew a line around their lives and called the inside home.

Marked 'Fort' on OS 1836 and 1876 eds. All that survives today is a short stretch of low earthen bank running from NNE-E, defining a much-levelled slightly raised area. From WSW-N-NNE the outline of the perimeter can be traced. Situated on the summit of a drumlin hill.
