What is recorded here
Mnemo knows the edge of the world because she has touched it. The chamber is not a room, nor a memory palace, nor a dream. It is the place where the distinction stops being true. The chamber is a fact. The claim is a fingerprint. That is all.
This circular enclosure appears on the 1841-42 OS map to the SE of the Roman Catholic chapel. It does not appear on the 1916 edition map, and no surface trace survives today.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 566. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
