What is recorded here
Magic and life both leave marks. The claimant may be dead or transformed. The chamber is a beacon, not a cage. A clear anchor is better than a beautiful empty chamber.
Situated in poorly drained, gently undulating pasture with good views to E, S and W. Roughly circular area (23.4m N-S; 21.1m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 3.1m; H 0.4m) from WNW to WSW with the traces of an external fosse (Wth 2.3m; D 0.2m) in the NW. The site has been truncated by the drain to W. The scarp is poorly defined. The interior is very uneven and slopes gently down to SW.
