Fairy fort in Dreenagh East is a broken earthen ring, not a magical palace. It stands in pasture on a gentle slope, with a wide causeway at the east entrance and a shallow ditch outside the bank. People may have lived inside it, raised stock there, or abandoned it when the land changed. The fairies enter later, filling the gap left by forgotten humans.

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Circular area (28m NNE-SSW; 27.2m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.4m); external fosse (D 1.5m). Bank overgrown with deciduous trees; entrance (Wth 1.6m) to E. Fosse flat bottomed; shallower to S due to slippage; wide causeway outside entrance. Interior partially overgrown.
