Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Dooneen (magunihy By., Killarney Rural Ed)

Dooneen holds a hidden thirty-metre ring beneath an ordinary garden, erased from sight but still drawn on old maps. The fort disappeared into soil and forgetting, yet its shape survives in ink rather than earth. It is a ghost that refused to leave, waiting for someone to stop looking at the surface and start listening to the ground.
