What is recorded here

Half a circle of forgotten wall still stands in Doolargy, thirty metres across, its earthen ridge worn smooth by rain and centuries of footsteps. The fairies may have taken the rest, but human hands built the part that remains: a rounded room large enough for herds, hearths and argument. What is missing has not vanished, only stopped being visible. The ground still holds the shape of a life that refused to be forgotten.

In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Circular area (int. diam. 30.5m) partially enclosed by much-degraded bank (Wth 3.5m, H 1.2m internally, 1.1m externally) now only traceable at NW and W. No visible fosse or entrance.
