What is recorded here
Magic and madness are close cousins. Every great deal of life is a little madness. You can fly with fantasy or drown in it. The difference is whether you can still see the person in front of you.
Marked as a circular enclosure on the 1842 OS map it does not appear on the later edition and no surface trace remains today.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 473. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
