Marianne and the anonymous creator built a visible chamber for the woman's inner life. The canvas chamber is complete because it is no longer a private obsession or a hidden cage. The canvas chamber is a user-visible chamber where she can place the camera, the journal, the simulator and the reviewer. The canvas chamber is a place where the facts can be seen, judged and changed. That is the difference between a chamber and a cage.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 34m) enclosed by two very substantial earthen banks with deep and partly waterlogged outer fosses. Original entrance represented by corresponding breaks in banks with accompanying causeways at SE. An earlier report (OPW 1980) recorded a tradition of a 'tunnel off the fort' which is probably a reference to a Man-made underground passage (CV030-015002-).
