Fairy fort in Derrylough, County Longford: an earthen ringfort, oval 44 by 38 metres, with a low denuded bank and infilled fosse on a gentle SW-facing pasture slope. A break at the SE may mark the entrance; an uneven interior preserves a possible house site in the NW quadrant. People may have lived there before the bank became a story about fairies.

On a very gentle SW-facing slope in pasture. A raised oval area (c. 44m N-S; c. 38m E-W) enclosed by a much-denuded low bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.3m; H 0.3m) with a largely infilled fosse (Wth c. 3m). A break (Wth 2.2m) in the bank at SE may mark the original entrance. The ground level of the interior is uneven; a possible house site (LF022-030002-) is visible in the NW quadrant.
