Fairy fort in Derrylevick, County Monaghan: a small earthen ring on a drumlin slope, mapped in 1907 and still marking the land today. Its bank is low but unbroken on most sides, while a field bank has cut through one edge, as if human toolwork entered an older shape. The conifers hide the interior, yet the ridge still tilts toward the light and the fort holds its quiet D-shaped claim on the hill.

Situated on the SE-facing slope of a NNW-SSE drumlin ridge. This feature is depicted only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a D-shaped area truncated by a NW-SE field bank at NE. This is a small subcircular or D-shaped area (dims 23m NW-SE; 20m NE-SW) sloping down the NE, which is planted in coniferous trees and defined by an earthen bank (Wth of base 4.3m; Wth of top 1.8m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.65m) SE-W-NW. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance and the monument is truncated by a NW-SE field bank at NE.
