Located on a N-S drumlin ridge. This is an overgrown area (diam. c. 35-40m) defined by an earthen bank (at SSW: Wth of base 5m; Wth of top 1.3m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.4m), which is incorporated into a field bank at N and reduced to a scarp at E where an attempt may have been made to truncate it. There is an outer fosse (at SSW: Wth of top 3.5m; Wth of base 2.5m; ext. D 0.5m) SE-W, but the original entrance is not identified.
