Knockbrack still stands beside Derrylahan, but the fort at its foot has become a hidden band of gravel inside pasture. That is not a small loss. A ringfort was a claim made visible, a boundary drawn around family, herds and memory. When the bank disappeared, the claim did not vanish; it stopped speaking in a shape people could point to.

In pasture, on a natural terrace in the W foothills of Knockbrack. A circular area (diam. 16m) defined by the remains of a recently levelled bank which is evident as a band of earth and gravel (Wth 2m). The interior is level and grass-covered.
