What is recorded here

Thirty-eight metres of forgotten wall circle a rise in Derryfrench, swallowing human memory into green pasture. The southern scarp still stands while scrub devours the rest, suggesting a threshold where visibility itself becomes optional. Lazy-beds mark the southeastern interior, proving the soil once answered human hands before returning it to mystery. What was hidden there, and from whom, has gone quiet.

On a rise in rough pastureland. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam. c. 38.5m) defined by a scarp best preserved at S. From W through N to E the enclosing element is obscured by scrub. A gap (Wth 2.5m) at SW may be original. Lazy-beds are visible in SE quadrant of the interior. Field walls extend from the monument at E and W.
