Fairy fort in Derreennalomane: earthen ringfort, 31m by 30m, bank 2.2m high, SSE entrance 4m wide with causeway and counterscarp. It sits on a natural knoll in pasture at the base of an SSE-facing slope, with cultivation ridges crossing the interior. People may have lived there, fenced it, or feared it; the earth still holds the shape of that choice.

In pasture, on natural knoll at base of SSE-facing slope. Circular area (31m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 2.2m). Entrance to SSE (Wth 4m) with causeway; counterscarp bank continues atop causeway to meet bank on both sides. Cultivation ridges cross interior on N-S axis.
