Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Derraulin stands in County Limerick, Ireland. A circular area about twenty-five metres wide holds a dense tangle of briars and bushes inside an earthen bank now absorbed into a field boundary. The place may have served people long before it became a fairy fort in local memory, but the thorns still guard what remains hidden.

In pasture, on gentle rise in undulating terrain. Circular area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by earthen bank (ext. H 1.45m) which is incorporated into field boundary ESE->WNW. Interior is completely covered by dense cover of briars and bushes. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
